The Wonders Of Nature

I will keep it short today, because I firmly believe that a picture says more than a thousand words. There is not a moral to this post, I only wanted to share with you what I thought was a beautiful wonder of nature:

A rose is a rose is a rose… Wait, what?!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with this sight; this is what you get when you chop the root off of a crop of paksoi/bok choy. Not only is this veggie delicious and healthy, but it’s a bit of a feast for the eye as well :)

Don’t you just love it when nature plays small jokes like this? I know I do! And this particular one always makes me smile somehow.

Thanks for stopping by!

Nothing Is As It Seems.

Came across a great post on 9gag, which I thought I’d share with you guys. Try not to peek!

Crazy, huh?

Moral of the story; get to know people before you judge them at first sight.

P.S.: Check out this post for a beautifully written, thought provoking story about prejudice!

I’m Back!

Hey everybody! I’m back :) And I hope you’ve missed me a little ;) After four days of resting I think I should be able to stare at my computer or Playbook long enough to start posting regularly again. The surgery went very well, but I’ll tell you all about it in tomorrow’s post. Also, I’ve been thinking a lot about this blog, and I’ve decided to make some changes. Curious? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see ;)

Anyway, welcome back, and I hope you’ll enjoy.

Today Is A Happy Day!

Why? Because today it’s my daddy’s 62nd birthday! I might have mentioned it before, but I can’t say it enough: I have the best dad ever. He’s super smart and funny, always understanding and supportive, and he’s taught me a lot of things about life. Some of the most important ones:

1. Never hit first.
Wait until you get hit, and then beat that motherfucker up.

2. Never slam the door behind you.
Because you’ll never know when you might need some people.

3. Always keep your head up.
You’re far better than the people who try to beat you down.

4. Always work hard, and you’ll get to do everything you want.
Show your skills and you can go anywhere.

5. Never stop learning.
Because knowledge is power.

And that’s just a few of the many, many words of wisdom he’s spoken. I think I could fill a million pages by telling you what an amazing man my father is! Of course, there have been times that I didn’t listen to him, didn’t take him seriously, I guess you’re supposed to do that during puberty. But now I (finally) know better; daddy’s always right.

So this is a small ode to the one man that I can always rely on, no matter what. Happy birthday dad! I wish you’ll have at least another 25 more birthdays to go!

Thanks for reading, I hope you’ve enjoyed, and I hope you might have even learned a little from my dad too :)

WordPress: Wtf?

I love to play around with numbers. Statistics, math, you name it, I like it. Hence, you can probably already guess that I can count pretty well. But WordPress is confusing me right now. I checked my stats, and yesterday I had an x amount of views. But the published post had more likes yesterday than there were viewers. How the hell is this possible? I’m seriously starting to doubt myself here! Somebody please tell me if I’m losing my mind here (could be, I’ve spent a lot of time in the sun, boiled brains and all that)!

P.S.: Thanks for all the reads, likes & follows… I can hardly believe people are actually enjoying my rants!

Enter… ML-X

Hi everybody,

Welcome to my blog!

I’m having a bit of a hard time thinking how to explain what it’s going to be about :) Basically, I’ll be writing about pretty much everything, based on my daily encounters. Don’t worry though, it’s not going to be a diary or something -I’m way too old for that. And way too funny, according to some. I guess, in the end I just love to make people laugh by being… Well, me. So that’s just about what I’m gonna do :)

I hope you’ll enjoy!
